Michel liked Alesandro Safina's duet with Chrissie, "Aria e Memoria / We'll Be Together" so much that he contacted the publisher who agreed to allow Michel to adapt the Italian lyrics into French. He then sent a demo of his new lyric to Chrissie Hynde in London and she immediately agreed to sing on the new version. The hard driving twist on the Safina's original operatic arrangement sounds great!
